There are many types of filters to keep both decorative and fish type ponds clean. We can usually supply the type of your choice.

For a fish pond we recommend an activated charcoal filter. They filter out the debris plus the charcoal kills the algae that’s in the water. We have seen green ponds cleaned up in a week by adding one of these filters.

They are sized by pond volume in gallons. Multiples may be used for larger ponds. If you over size the filter the period will be longer between cleanings.

The activated charcoal should be changed every 6 to 8 months.

Decorative ponds without fish and plants can be kept clean with a cartridge type filter. They have a long life between filter replacement and are easy to clean.
