Urdls installs concrete pools of two types. We are licensed Commercial Swimming Pool/Spa Contractors in Florida so we make the typical steel reinforced shotcrete pools and ponds. These usually have 6” thick floors and 4” thick walls depending on the engineer’s design. We also install smaller decorative ponds and fish ponds of poly fiber reinforced concrete (PFRC). This is a high strength fiber reinforced concrete that we usually apply by hand with little or no steel reinforcing . The floor is 2” thick and the walls are 1 ½”thick. Both types have their uses and we assist you in deciding the correct type for your application. |
